Located along the Hida River, the Suimeikan inn consists of three accommodation buildings (Rinsenkaku, Hisenkaku, and Sansuikaku) and a detached sukiya-style building called Seiranso. Guest rooms are diverse, including Japanese-style rooms, Japanese-Western style rooms, and rooms with private open-air hot spring baths.

The baths are varied, including the low-temperature and high-temperature baths and the cypress-wood "Shimodome no Yu" on the 3rd floor of Rinsenkaku, the panoramic public bath on the 9th floor of Hisenkaku, and the rustic open-air bath on the 1st floor of Sansuikaku. Furthermore, the guest rooms in Seiranso, Rinkawakaku, and Sansuikaku also have private hot spring baths.

For meals, chefs prepare each dish with care using fresh, seasonal local ingredients. Guests can choose from Japanese cuisine in their rooms, a fusion of Japanese and Western kaiseki cuisine in the dining room, kaiseki cuisine in the Japanese restaurant, or French and Chinese cuisine in the restaurant.

Furthermore, the hotel also features a Noh stage, a tea room, an art gallery, and a hot spring pool, allowing guests to enjoy their stay in their own way.
